The Madison jam is a member of the GLACIER (Great Lakes Area Contact Improvisation Enthusiast's Retreat) community which comes together at regional jams & events. WHEN: Sundays from 4:30-6:30 pmWHERE: Main Street Yoga, 1882 E. Main Street, just off First Street between E. Washington and Winnebago.
COST: Suggested donation of $7-12 covers our rent.
WHAT: This jam includes an opening circle "check in", facilitated warm-up, and facilitated instruction on topics such as weight sharing, lifting, safe falling, perception, fluid dancing, etc. Facilitation is adjusted to meet the needs of those who attend and always includes some open dance time. Newcomers to the form are as welcome as long-time C.I. practitioners.

We've filled the streets, galleries, community spaces and storefronts of Mazomanie with spontaneous physical composition; enjoyed exquisite afternoons of focused movement; explored aerial, vocal, musical, silent, site-specific, physical, theatrical and contact-based improvisation Do you know about other jams in this country/region?
