AZ Improv Jam is a volunteer run open-floor movement space. AZ Improv Jam is dedicated to free self expression and invites all adults, children, artists, dancers and performers to connect through movement.

We recommend participants attend the 11-12pm workshop. Workshop is our time to get to know each other! We will learn various movement techniques and facilitate the free-flow environment.

Workshop instructors vary and may include Contact Improvisation, Yoga, and Acrobatics. If you would like to teach a class please let us know! DJs needed too!

I teach at Prescott College, a small private college in Central Arizona. The dance program has a strong emphasis on improvisation and personal inquiry. I am an active performer and choreographer and dance with Human Nature Dance Theatre and do freelance projects across the country.
