Ari Christopher is a dance artist, educator and organizer. She is the founding Executive Artistic Director of Tulsa Modern Movement, teaches Contemporary Modern Dance at the Tulsa Ballet CDE and Art Infusion with Oklahoma A+ Institute.
She makes dances for the stage and special places. Her choreography has been commissioned by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Tulsa Artist Fellowship, Harwelden Institute, among others. Ari has over 400 hours of Contact Improv experience, including programs at EarthDance, Bill T Jones Arnie Zane Company Intensive, Texas Dance Improvisation Festival, Pilobolus Dance Intensive and teaches Contact Improv to students age 12 to 72 in a variety of settings and facilitates jams in Tulsa Oklahoma.
