4/26/07 ECITE in Saint-Petersburg Russia!
This year ECITE (European Contact Improvisation Teacher's Exchange) for the first time in its 22-year history is going to happen in Russia. The annual meeting started in Amsterdam initiated by Nancy Stark Smith in 1985. The event will take place in a large Gym building with six studios surrounded outside by a park and a small lake. Starting on July 19th and ending on July 26th, there will be a mix of teacher's exchanges, study labs, nightly jams, and a public performance. You can register and get more information by going to: www.ecite.org In addition the Second International Contact Moscow Festival is happening right before ECITE on July 8-16 with a line up of more than 16 international teachers. So if you ever wanted to visit Russia and dance all month this summer is for you!   |
