8/14/06 Afro-Contact Adam Gottlieb, an emerging professional dancer / choreographer from Canada, has created a new website to promote his teaching and performance work and there are a number of his adventurous ideas that intrigued and excited me. In 2005, I launched "Hip-Hop Meets Contact Improvisation," including weekly jams for Montrealers and occasional intensives for locals and out-of-towners alike. The dancers gave me a picture of something beautiful and powerful to come...
