Helena Eflerov? is Aquatic Contact Improvisation practitioner and facilitator. She practiced underwater performances since 2009 after having trained in Performance Art, Scuba and Apnea diving, Yoga, Butoh and Contact Improvisation Dance. She is a professional multidisciplinary artist and facilitator who employs direct dialogue, physical engagement and non-verbal language as communication. Her research explores embodiment, movement in aquatic environment and human prenatal theories. She is experienced facilitator delivering workshops to all ages and demographics for the past 7 years. Eflerov? has performed and shown her work in universities, art galleries, off-site, non-gallery/heritage and site-specific environments. Every February we run a yoga and contact improv retreat in the Sahara Desert in Morocco.

We camp for a week in the sand dunes in traditional Berber tents and make music, tell stories around the fire and sing under the full moon.
