"Dance in the middle of the moment"

Niki Meixner teaches contact improvisation for ten years in Austria. His movement roots are martial art (karate, aikido, capoeira), modern dance and massage techniques. His important teachers are Nancy Stark Smith, Daniel Lepkoff, Martin Keogh, Ray Chung, and Mark Tompkins. He works in different performance art groups as dancer, choreographer, lecture performer. He is the founder and organizer of the monthly “last friday jam” in Carinthia since 2002.
