Suspend is an aerial and circus arts studio that focuses on aerial dance (the collision of modern dance composition and aerial acrobatics). In starting up the dance sector of Suspend, which includes various styles of dance classes, and a small dance company, we are also trying to involve more people in the art and practice of Contact Improvisation! This region of the country has been sadly deprived of consistent practice in this form with no existing jams or events outside of the university scene. Thus, it is our honor of privilege to allow a safe space for this practice to exist and grow in Kentucky!
